Scheduled for June 28-30, 2024, the 63rd Annual Grand Haven Art Festival, presented by The Chamber of Commerce Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg, stitches the fabric of community and creativity together.
Grand Haven, a city rich with maritime history and coastal charm, invites visitors to experience more than just its soft beaches and iconic lighthouse. According to Festival Director Abigail Wittkopp, “this is a summer event not to be missed as Washington Avenue transforms into an open-air art gallery showcasing the talents of nearly 80 artists—
selected from a record number of applicants.”
Rain or shine, the festival will be a delightful experience for art enthusiasts and families alike. Attendees can explore diverse artwork, including sculptures, ceramics, digital art, drawings, fiber art, glasswork, jewelry, metalwork, mixed media, paintings, photographs, and wood art. As a fine art juried show, visitors can expect unparalleled quality and craftsmanship, with awards presented on-site to exceptional artists. Saturday activities include a Family Fun Day, inviting young ones to explore their creativity ensuring the festival is a family affair.
While exploring the festival, make the most of Grand Haven’s charming shops, boutiques, and restaurants. For a bit of local flavor, try a corn dog from the iconic Pronto Pup, a fresh sandwich from The Toasted Pickle or, a refreshing beverage at Long Road Distillers.
